Rossera is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. Whilst Rossera became Carbon Neutral in 2022 through small-scale carbon offset, we continue to strive to be net-zero by 2050, with the aspiration to achieve the target much sooner.

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions Reductions Targets

Rossera’s Carbon Footprint is already very low and any residual footprint is offset such that we are net zero. We continue to strive to reduce our carbon footprint further. As Rossera is a rapidly expanding organisation, in periods of high growth our footprint may increase, However we continue to strive to reduce the footprint per headcount.

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 12 tCO2e by 2028. This is a reduction of 22%*

*Based on current organisation size and structure.

As part of the continuing Carbon Neutral initiative, Rossera are investigating several means of reducing our carbon footprint to help achieve net zero, for example;

Increased energy efficiency and reduced waste – more efficient and longer life IT.

Greener travel – Public Transport and Electric vehicles.

Monitoring – Engage with Carbon Neutral Britain to measure Carbon year on year such that we can track and progress toward net zero. Ensuring transparency to our customers and suppliers and align to standardised reporting and compliance.
