Rossera is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. Whilst Rossera became Carbon Neutral in 2022 through small-scale carbon offset, we continue to strive to be Net Zero by 2050, with the aspiration to achieve the target much sooner.

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
Baseline Year: 2021
Rossera initiated an initiative to be Carbon Neutral in early 2022 in conjunction with implementing a Carbon Reduction Plan to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Rossera's carbon footprint remains low, and any residual emissions are currently offset to maintain carbon neutrality.
We remain committed to reducing our operational emissions wherever possible. As Rossera continues to grow, our total emissions may increase in line with business expansion. However, our objective is to reduce emissions per employee through improved efficiency, sustainable working practices, and ongoing investment in lower-carbon operations.
To support our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050, Rossera has adopted the following carbon reduction target. Based on our current organisational size and structure, we aim to reduce our carbon emissions by 15% over the next five years. This represents an average reduction of 4.1 tCO2e per year from our 2025 reporting baseline.
As part of the continuing Carbon Neutral initiative, Rossera are investigating several means of reducing our carbon footprint to help achieve Net Zero, for example:
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors or equivalent management body.
